    Our client is currently seeking a qualified **Field Service Technician** to join their team in Meridian, MS and provide end-user support. This role involves servicing multiple store locations, ensuring consistent and high-quality technical support. The ideal candidate will be skilled in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting POS systems, and maintaining store IT equipment. A valid driver's license and clean MVR is required.

    Duties and Responsibilities** **:

    + Provide onsite IT and technical support for multiple stores in the region

    + Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and POS systems

    + Install and configure new hardware, software, and peripherals

    + Support network connectivity issues (basic troubleshooting of switches, routers, cabling)

    + Perform device imaging, setup, and configuration as needed

    + Document all service activities, resolutions, and parts used in service tickets

    + Communicate professionally with store staff and remote support teams

    + Maintain company-provided tools, vehicle, and equipment in good working condition

    Skills and Qualifications** **:

    + Minimum of 2+ years of IT or field service experience

    + Strong background in hardware and software troubleshooting

    + Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking (LAN/WAN)

    + Experience with printer setup, POS systems, or retail IT environments preferred

    + Excellent customer service and communication skills

    + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally work on ladders

    + Comfortable with travel between store locations

    **Wage Range** :

     

    The rate for this position is between **$18.00 - $21.00 per hour.** Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
