**Pay Rate:** Based on experience
**Work Hours:** M-F 7am-3:30pm
**Education:** High School Diploma or Equivalent
Description:
CTG’s client is seeking a proactive Quality Technician II to join their QA team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, reliability, and compliance. The ideal candidate will perform hands-on product testing, inspection, and certification while making day-to-day quality decisions that directly impact the organization’s success.
This position includes significant duties such as:
• Perform daily fit, form, and function testing in the QA lab and execute certification testing as assigned
• Conduct mold qualification testing, including new parts and modifications to existing molds
• Complete incoming inspections and verify compliance with specifications
• Make independent decisions on day-to-day quality issues and communicate instructions to relevant team members
• Gather product samples for testing and process lot samples accurately
• Follow quarantine procedures for nonconforming products to ensure safety and compliance
• Operate and maintain testing and measuring equipment according to lab protocols
• Assist in investigating customer concerns and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in cross-functional projects to ensure overall product quality and process efficiency
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory or quality assurance environment
• Familiarity with QA lab procedures, inspection, and sampling methods
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make independent quality decisions while adhering to documented procedures
• Comfortable working with chemicals and following safety protocols
Education:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with QA testing, measurement, and inspection equipment
• Knowledge of product quality standards and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication skills to convey findings and instructions clearly
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team goals
Working Conditions:
Good working conditions in the QA lab with good lighting and climate control. Some exposure to chemicals and odors. Proper protective attire such as gloves, eye protection, and respirators are available.
