Description:

We are seeking a consultant to work on a long term multi year initiative to drive successful deployments within different containerized platforms and APIs.

Eliassen Group is seeking to hire a resource for this role between 60-65 an hour W2 + benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing multi-tier distributed applications and a passion for creating clean, maintainable code. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to automation, development, security, and DevOps.

_Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

_Rate: $60 - $65 / hr. w2_

Responsibilities:

+ Leave behind amazing performant code within the platform each sprint

+ Contribute to next-gen software for security / fullstack environments

+ Provide collaboration to your senior peers and mentoring support for junior engineers

+ Build tools with a focus on code quality

Experience Requirements:

+ 8+ years of progressive experience with Java, including API, RESTful web services, SpringBoot

+ Strong experiences with AWS, Jenkins, and API testing (role will require skills with full SDLC, including testing, automation, work with RestAssured, SecDevOps, and security teams)

Education Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required
