Summary

+ Deliver personalized, patient-centered care by rooming patients for a variety of clinic visits.

+ Be a vital link between patients and providers by communicating results and essential medical information.

+ Play a key role in keeping our clinic running smoothly and efficiently, ensuring every patient’s experience is seamless.

+ Assist with procedures within scope of practice.

+ Administer medications/injections/immunizations.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

+ Fulltime position - Working 64-80 hours every two weeks | Onsite

+ Daytime shifts between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM

+ Tuesday through Friday, with most Mondays off

Pay and Benefits

+ Starting pay begins at $20.41 per hour and increases with experience

+ Pay range: $20.41 - $31.06 per hour

+ $2,000 hiring bonus and $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates!

Qualifications:

+ Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

+ Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following:

+ American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)

+ American Medical Technologists (AMT)

+ National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

+ National Healthcareer Association (NHA)

+ American Registry of Medical Assistant (NCMA)

+ Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.

+ Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.

Department

The CentraCare Lakeland Clinic is located next door to the Rice Memorial Hospital and is a multi-specialty clinic with physicians and advanced practice providers. The Family Practice clinic provides continuing, comprehensive health care to patients of all ages including care of acute and chronic illnesses, preventative care and health education services.

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

Relocation assistance eligibility: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the Willmar Main Clinic and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
