As a Estimating & Pricing Specialist II, you'll contribute to meaningful projects that shape the future of aerospace.
This position contributes to our vision by:
• Develops labor and material estimates
• Provides cost and/or price information to cross-functional teams, management, and customers
• Applies labor and material inputs to the appropriate pricing model to develop proposals pricing
• Extracts information for engineering drawings and documents to create complete bill of materials and labor standards data
• Maintain proposal database with current status and apply unit pricing to military shippers for invoicing
• Validates unit pricing on incoming purchase orders
• Ability to use programs/software such as: SAP, and Excel to complete estimates
• Prepares and presents complex proposal data to senior management
• Supports Government and customer, fact findings, audits and negotiations

This position requires access to technologies and hardware subject to US national security based export control requirements. All applicants must be US Citizens, or otherwise authorized by the U.S. Government. No company sponsorship will be offered.

Candidate skills & requirements

• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related degree, and 3+ years of experience in estimating and pricing, manufacturing, or engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience producing complex estimates
• Knowledge of estimating processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prepare and present complex data to senior management
• Demonstrated skill with parametric estimating
• Experience with Government Contracting
• Experience with FAR and TINA
Experience with Government audits
• Requires proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
