    Job Title: Compounding Operator, 3rd shift

     

    Summary:To safely and efficiently perform compound mixing utilizing mechanical equipment to mix and mill High Consistency and Liquid Silicone Rubber to desired customer specifications.

    Responsibilities Include:

    + Ensure that all safety equipment is readily available and that all guards are in place.

    + Read batch cards for directions, such as proper amounts, temperature controls, weights and sequences of raw materials, and any other additional instructions.

    + Safely operate multiple types of mixers, mills and press out equipment and other related equipment when required.

    + Maintain work area in clean and orderly manner, especially during shift transition.

    + Maintain written production records of batches mixed.

    + Learn and understand basic customer requirements and the equipment and materials used in extrusion, mixing, milling, packaging, and finishing.

    + Receive and relay vital communications with co-workers concerning daily production strategies.

    + As directed, carry out any other tasks of equal or less difficulty.

    + Starting pay is $22.05 + $2 Shift Premium

    Qualifications:

    The following are required for the role

     

    + Must have HS Diploma or GED

    + Must be able to pass respirator fit test

    + Must be able to sustain appropriate grooming daily for wearing respirator

     

    Must be able to read/write/speak English

     

    Preferred

     

    + Prior computer and scanner experience
