    Department:Cardiology

     

    Shift:Per Diem - weekends required

     

    Facility:Saint Joseph Medical Center

    Responsibilities

    Ultrasound Technologist / Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) demonstrates competency in performing all general and vascular ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produces an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

    1. RVT(ARDMS), RVS (CCI) or VS (ARRT) certification required within 90 days of hire and maintain.

    2. Graduate an accredited vascular ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.

    3. Current experience preferred.

    3. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.

    4. Proficient computer skills.

    Pay Transparency

     

    Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.44. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
