    Job Description

    The System Offices is one of several system members within the Texas A&M University System representing one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, with a network of 12 universities, a comprehensive health science center, eight state agencies, and the RELLIS Campus. The Texas A&M University System mission is to provide education, conduct research, commercialize technology, offer training, and deliver services for the people of Texas and beyond.

     

    The System Offices, within the Texas A&M University System, provides an outstanding benefits package including, but not limited to: competitive health benefits; paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays; a defined benefit retirement plan with 8.25% employer contribution through Teachers Retirement System of Texas (TRS); tuition assistance; and wellness programs to promote work/life balance.

    Salary:

    $5,084.33 - $5,833.33 per month commensurate with experience.

    Job Description Summary:

    The Program Coordinator - Partnerships under general supervision, works collaboratively with leadership to expand the institute's influence and impact by identifying and engaging new research partnership opportunities and relationship building with current partners, industry leaders, and strategic allies.

    Responsibilities:

    - Proactively identify target organizations, research institutions, and industry influencers to generate qualified collaboration opportunities aligned with the institute's priorities.

     

    - Conduct ongoing meetings to understand partners' needs, timelines, and collaboration goals.

     

    - Plan, arrange, and host on-site visits, delegation meetings, and familiarization tours for prospective partners.

     

    - Develop strong working relationships with academic departments, research centers, industry partners, and government agencies.- Other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience:

    - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    - Four years of experience in business development, academic partnerships, or related field.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    - Proven track record of managing projects and building trusted relationships with academic and industry leaders.

     

    - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience developing strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

     

    - Highly organized with a results-driven and proactive mindset.

     

    - Team player with a personable, collaborative attitude and commitment to advancing the institute's mission.

     

    - Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    - Strong understanding of academic research processes and ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.

     

    - Team player with a personable, collaborative attitude and commitment to advancing the lnstitute's mission.- Interest in the lnstitute's field of study and its impact on broader academic and societal contexts. - Proficiency with project management tools and data analysis software
