Description
Trinity Solar is seeking a detail-oriented and dependableApplications Processorto join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the solar installation process by preparing and submitting permit, utility, and state application packages. You’ll help ensure each solar project moves efficiently through local and state requirements, all while maintaining positive relationships with municipalities, utilities, and other regulatory agencies.
The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and customer-focused, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build administrative and project coordination skills within the growing renewable energy industry.
What You’ll Do
+ Prepare and submit permit, utility, and state application packages for residential solar projects.
+ Collect and verify all required documentation to complete applications accurately and efficiently.
+ Track and record application progress, updating internal systems to reflect real-time project status.
+ Review, organize, and distribute documents, correspondence, and approvals to appropriate departments.
+ Perform a variety of administrative tasks including answering calls, scanning, emailing, preparing shipments, and maintaining electronic and physical files.
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with municipalities, utilities, and other relevant agencies to ensure smooth and timely processing of applications.
+ Coordinate with internal teams to communicate project updates, resolve issues, and meet deadlines.
+ Occasionally run permits or deliver documents as needed to support the permitting process.
What You Bring
+ 1+ year of office or administrative experience required (construction or permitting background preferred).
+ Solar or renewable energy industry experience a plus, but not required — training provided for the right candidate.
+ Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, positive attitude.
+ High level of attention to detail and accuracy in document handling.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF, and general computer literacy.
+ Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
+ College degree preferred but not required.
+ Notary Public certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).
