Department Summary:

Boston Children's at Martha Eliot offers primary and preventive care for children, adolescents, and young adults, including well-child appointments and sick visits, as well as specialty services like behavioral health and optometry.

Key responsibilities:

+ Assisting clinician during examinations (i.e. obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic).

+ Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions.

+ Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse.

+ Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.

+ Working day/evening rotation, Thursday evenings and weekend rotation to the main campus primary care clinic. Holiday coverage.

Minimum qualifications:

Education:

+ HS Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

+ 1 year direct patient care experience required.

+ Spanish speaking preferred.

+ Pedi experience preferred.

+ Please note: During a public health emergency, individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional duties to respond to organizational needs
