**Boeing Commercial Airplanes** (BCA) is seeking a **Senior Quality Manager (Level L)** to join our team based in Portland, Oregon.
The Senior Quality Manager for Boeing Portland will lead the Quality Assurance team and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System. This role will integrate quality assurance activities across multiple manufacturing functions within the Portland Business Unit and Hard Metals Manufacturing teams. The position requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to develop and communicate effective corrective action plans.
**Position Responsibilities** :
+ Manages employees and first-level managers performing management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families.
+ Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
+ Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
+ Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
+ Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
+ Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
+ 10+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry.
+ 5+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
+ 5+ years of experience in communicating and/or coaching operators, peers and leadership on various aspects of a quality system (associated with engineering, operations, or quality)
+ 5+ years of experience in a leadership role leading teams, initiatives, or projects that demonstrated improvement to cost and quality and the ability to influence change
+ 3+ years of experience in leading teams (This includes managing team assignments, tracking status and developing a team’s talent.)
+ 3+ years of experience with organizational and team building skills performed in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ Bachelor's degree in related field
+ Experience in quality leadership
+ Experience interacting with Customers
+ Experience in a factory environment (CNC Metal machining)
+ Experience in implementing Quality Management System (QMS)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
**Summary Range:** $143,650 – $194,350
