    As a **Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol** in **Staunton, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

     

    Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents.     Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    Day** **Time

     

    Wed06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

     

    Thur06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

     

    Fri10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

    What You’ll Do:

    + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

    + Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

    + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

    + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

    + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a government location.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

    + Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the site and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.

    + Monitor and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities or management.

    + Assist visitors and employees by providing information and direction as needed within the location.

    + Follow all protocols for armed security-related posts, including proper handling and maintenance of assigned equipment.

    + Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required during incidents or emergencies.

    + Complete detailed and accurate reports on all incidents, observations, and patrol activities during the shift.

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Availability across various days and shifts

    + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

    + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

    + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
