Our client, a dedicated public health organization, is seeking a **ASSISTANT FINANCE OFFICER** to join their team. As an **ASSISTANT FINANCE OFFICER** , you will be part of the **Financial Services** supporting the **Administrative Services Division** . The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** ASSISTANT FINANCE OFFICER

**Location:** OKLAHOMA CITY, OK

**Salary** : $79,584

What's the Job?

+ Oversee and coordinate financial functions within the department, including accounting, budgeting, and fiscal operations.

+ Assist in the development and monitoring of financial reports and documents.

+ Support the establishment and implementation of financial controls and procedures.

+ Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

+ Collaborate with various officials and team members to ensure accurate financial management and reporting.

What's Needed?

+ Master's degree in Accounting plus four years of accounting experience (governmental experience preferred).

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting plus five years of accounting experience (governmental experience preferred).

+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.

+ At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.

+ Valid Oklahoma driver license required.
