    Our client, an industry leader in steel manufacturing, is seeking a Rolling Mill Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Rolling Mill Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operations at the Beaumont Mill location. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Rolling Mill Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

    **Location:** Vidor, Texas

    **Pay Range:** $100,000 - $115,000

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Supervise mechanical maintenance personnel engaged in maintenance, repair, and servicing of equipment in the rolling mill, finishing, and shipping areas.

    + Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and optimize operational efficiency.

    + Investigate equipment performance issues and take corrective actions to ensure smooth operations.

    + Coordinate maintenance activities, including planning, scheduling, and procurement of spare parts.

    + Lead safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and promoting a safety-first culture.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Extensive experience (8-10 years) in heavy mechanical maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

    + Formal training in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

    + Experience with rolling mill equipment such as cranes, reheat furnaces, and finishing systems.

    + Union experience (United Steelworkers) is a significant plus.

    + Ability to lead, motivate, and evaluate a team of skilled maintenance personnel.
