Job Description: Quality Technician
We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician with 2-5 years of hands-on technical experience in production quality assurance inspection. This role involves working in a dynamic metal stamping environment, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of production parts through precise measurements and inspections.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct part measurements using quality inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and inspection gages.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and customer CAD prints to ensure accurate inspection against dimensions and part tolerances.
+ Identify non-conforming products and take corrective actions.
+ Support the Quality Department by ensuring part quality and proper dimensioning.
+ Apply knowledge of ISO9001/IATF16949 quality standards and statistical process control.
+ Utilize basic computer skills and quality-related software for reporting and documentation.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on technical experience in production QA inspection.
+ Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gages.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD prints.
+ Experience in metals inspection, preferably in metal stamping, metal fabrication, or CNC machining.
+ Basic understanding of ISO9001/IATF16949 quality standards.
+ Knowledge of statistical process control and GD&T interpretation.
+ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and quality-related software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the interpretation and application of GD&T.
+ Background in metals manufacturing, such as metal stamping, CNC machining, or metal fabrication.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
