Now Hiring: Quality Technician
Job Description
Ensure the integrity, purity, and quality of all products and records during various stages including receiving, storage, manufacturing, processing, packaging, holding, and shipping. Products include a variety of nutrients, supplements, creams & lotions, shampoos, repellents, and vitamins.
Responsibilities
+ Perform lab inventory control.
+ Verify correct labels and bring them to production lines.
+ Review raw materials specifications with the team to build new reports.
+ Conduct electronic scanning and manual filling of documentation as needed.
+ Check, sample, ID test, and release raw material packaging components and product labels.
+ Monitor the Receiving Log for receipt of new materials.
+ Collect, log, and deliver samples to the lab.
+ Measure and record specifications for packing materials and record pre-packing test result values.
+ Inspect rooms and machines for errors or defects.
+ Make determinations to ship or deem rejected for re-work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Life Science degree (recent graduates are welcome)
+ 1-2 years of experience in a production quality role
+ Ability to perform simple math (addition, subtraction, percentages, unit conversions, critical thinking)
+ Successful completion of a math test during the interview process
Work Environment
This is a day shift position from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 50/50 split between the production line and the lab, conducting quality checks on the line and performing light lab work on raw materials. Work is primarily conducted in an environmentally controlled manufacturing plant. The environment is physical and fast-paced, within a very friendly team and family-owned company.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
