Job Title: Commercial SuperintendentJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Superintendent for a construction general contractor specializing in retail and restaurant construction. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to oversee commercial interior tenant fit-out projects and ensure they are completed on time and within safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

+ Run commercial interior tenant fit-out projects.

+ Push the schedule and coordinate trades to meet project deadlines.

+ Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety requirements.

+ Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including designers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to deliver projects successfully.

+ Create and maintain a Two Week Look Ahead schedule for the Project Manager.

+ Generate and manage Requests for Information (RFIs).

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of three years' experience as a Superintendent in commercial renovations.

+ Proficient in construction management and scheduling.

+ Experience with Procore and Autodesk software.

+ Strong understanding of building codes and safety procedures.

+ Ability to manage subcontractors effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with projects ranging from $500k to $3 million.

+ Valid Driver's License.

Work Environment

Work primarily occurs within Montgomery County, DC Metro area, with some projects extending to Inwood, WV, and Eastern Shore. Each project typically lasts 8-12 weeks, with one superintendent assigned per project. The company values a culture of integrity, open-mindedness, and employee engagement. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockville, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $62.50/hr.
