Job Title: Construction SuperintendentJob Description

We are seeking a qualified Construction Superintendent with experience in mechanical and/or petroleum construction, particularly involving jet fuel systems or oil/gas infrastructure. This role is responsible for managing all on-site operations, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, and maintaining project schedules and quality standards.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee all construction site activities, including safety enforcement, quality control, and verification of subcontractor work against construction drawings.

+ Effectively coordinate and deconflict work between subcontractors and owner-provided vendors to ensure efficient site operations.

+ Identify and communicate all Requests for Information (RFIs) to the project management team promptly.

+ Collaborate with the Project Manager to review and validate all change orders and subcontractor pay applications.

+ Prepare and maintain a rolling three-week look-ahead schedule, submitted every Monday throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills

+ Hands-on experience in mechanical or petroleum construction, especially with jet fuel systems or oil/gas projects.

+ Proficiency in construction supervision, subcontractor management, and safety enforcement.

+ Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore.

+ Ability to pass a drug screening prior to employment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Willingness to travel.

+ Experience with RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite with a job site located in Destin. The role requires a willingness to travel as needed. Benefits include a 401K, health and dental insurance, profit-sharing options after 12 months, an end-of-year performance bonus, vehicle and gas card allowances, and a cell phone allowance. We prefer permanent hires but are open to superintendents interested in a contract for one project at a time.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
