We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative team dedicated to designing and developing advanced machinery. This role involves creating detailed 3D models, assembly drawings, and plant layouts, supporting manufacturing, technical services, and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
+ Design and modify equipment using CAD software (SolidEdge preferred).
+ Create and update Bills of Materials and detailed manufacturing drawings.
+ Redesign existing equipment for retrofit projects.
+ Ensure compliance with engineering and manufacturing standards.
+ Collaborate with engineering manager and coordinator on project execution.
+ Mentor junior drafters and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
+ BSME with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (Associate’s degree with 2–7 years experience also considered).
+ Proficiency in 3D modeling; SolidEdge, SolidWorks, or Creo preferred.
+ Experience in machine design and complex assembly drawings.
+ Strong understanding of GD&T and material/component selection.
Work Environment
+ Casual dress code (jeans welcome).
+ Collaborative team of ~20 engineers, including a 6-member design team.
+ On-site testing center for prototype validation.

+ ~10% overtime, paid at time and a half.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $42.00/hr.
