Job Description

You will be responsible for assembling metal shelter systems designed for remote camp sites. These structures may serve as showers/bathrooms, laundry units, sleeping quarters, kitchens, and general meeting spaces. Your role will involve working from prints to assemble, drill, rivet, and square walls prior to the complete assembly of the buildings.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble metal buildings and install fixtures such as lights, toilets, and showers.

+ Use hand and power tools efficiently to complete tasks.

+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.

+ Measure accurately using a tape measure to ensure precision in assembly.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to accurately read a tape measure.

+ Prior experience in construction or a related field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechanical assembly experience preferred.

+ Blueprint reading skills preferred.

Work Environment

Work within a large manufacturing company with 12 different departments, focusing on the assembly side. Each department specializes in different types of building, and the facility also houses welding, painting, and CNC machining departments. The environment is dynamic, providing opportunities to work across similar yet distinct projects.

This is a Contract position based out of Spokane Valley, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
