• Sustainability Coordinator

    ### Job Duties

    Under supervision, implements sustainability initiatives and projects across Olmsted County. Develops and distributes outreach materials for departments and community groups. Researches information, makes recommendations, and manages sustainability projects. Collaborates with external organizations, such as cities, counties, state, and federal government, nonprofits, and industry groups, to gather resources and coordinate collective efforts toward sustainability goals. Supports a diverse, respectful, and inclusive workplace.

     

    ### Minimum Education Required

    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in environmental science, sustainable management, planning, public administration, environmental engineering or conservation, or related field and two (2) years of related experience.

    OR

    Associate’s degree from an accredited college in environmental science or related field and four (4) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions.

    OR

    A combination of education and experience equivalent to six (6) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions.

     

    ### Minimum Experience Required
