Job Description
Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential
Join Amcor as a **Quality** **Technician,** and play a key role in producing high-quality laminated products that protect what’s important. You’ll assist the Quality Assurance Manager in the implementation of the overall Quality System at AFNA site and contribute to a team focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.
Schedule
+ 12 Hour Nights, Monday-Thursday running from 6:45pm – 7:00am.
+ **Shift Premium:** $1.50/hour

Job Description: Possibility Unpacked
What you’ll do:
+ Record test results and file QC records. Quarantine non-conformingmaterial, andnotify Production Supervision of non-conforming products.Organize fordaily MRBmeeting.
+ Document and control sampleretainand retain storage for future reference in case a quality concernwould arise.
+ Audit job data and release product from quality inspection.
+ File Hold Tickets and Specification DeviationRequest asapplicable.
+ Assist Quality Assurance Manager in implementing andmaintainingthe most effective and efficient procedures foroptimumquality assurance.
+ Assistinmaintenanceof adequate quality records.
+ Review necessary documentation at shifthuddles.
+ Assistmanufacturing /engineering in conducting process capability and control studies (SPC-Statistical Process Control) toassureproduct quality.
+ Maintain the measurement device calibration system and perform calibrations as required by the system,assistin Gage R&R studies.
+ Responsible for working safely andmaintaininga safe work environment:attendrequired training,identifiesandreportshazards;wearrequired PPE for position; and is accountable for self as well as co-worker safety.
+ This positionis responsible forensuring that verification testing is completed and if material is found out ofspecificationthe material is bound and quarantined.

Preferred qualifications:
+ A high school diploma orequivalencyisrequired.
+ 1-2 years of experience in the packaging industry is a plus.
+ Minimumof 1-2years experienceas a quality technician isrequired.
+ An employee in this positionis required toregularly stand,sitand walk
