    The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has an opening for a Probationary Business and Marketing Teacher. The successful candidate will need to:

     

    + Demonstrate strong skills and knowledge of business, marketing, entrepreneurship, and finance;

    + Ability to integrate real-world applications and assist students in developing practical skills and essential work habits;

    + Exhibit an understanding of differentiated and blended learning;

    + Exhibit willingness to work with different learning styles and learning needs;

    + Effectively manage several students and/or projects at the same time in a high-paced environment;

    + Build a positive rapport with students and families;

    + Demonstrate ability to work effectively with colleagues as part of a team;

    + Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills; and

    + Completion of a NYS Registered Program – Business and Marketing

    + Institutional Recommendations – Business and marketing

    + New York State Teacher Certification Exam – Education All Students Test (EAS)

    + Content Specialty Test (CST) – Business and Marketing or Safety Net Business and Marketing

    + Workshop - Dignity for All Students Act

    + Workshop – Child Abuse Identification (Updated 2025)

    + OR Other NYSED Approved Certification Pathway

    + Fingerprint Clearance
