Sports RadioKFHin Wichita has an opening for a part-time Board Operator.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Job responsibilities:
+ Run the control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDsaccording to program and commercial logs.
+ Operating the board during local and syndicated talk radio programs and sports events.
+ Screening calls during local call-in shows.
+ Researching broadcast topics, providing creative input on broadcast elements andcollaborating with hosts on show content.
+ Scheduling guests and live interviews.
+ Recording news, weather, and traffic feeds for broadcast.
+ Editing relevant video and audio sound bites for on-air use.
+ Contributing to social networking and website updates.
+ Producing and running live station remotes.
+ Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations.
+ Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications

Required & Preferred:
+ Candidates should have a good working knowledge of current events.
+ Applicants must be available nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
+ Prior experience is a plus.
+ Experience using Adobe Suite editing applications like Audition and Premiere Pro.
+ Dependability and punctuality are a must.
+ Employees of Audacy are required to be a minimum of 21 years of age to operate any vehicle, including Company-owned, leased, rented, or personal vehicles, when such operation is conducted on behalf of Audacy. Driving is an essential function of this role.
+ A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
