    Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will manage complex scientific data and protocols related to SOF performance including but not limited to: biomechanics, recovery science, advanced diagnostics, monitoring, performance technology, rehabilitation, performance physiology etc. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining best practices and capabilities to optimize warfighter readiness, resiliency, and combat effectiveness. You will manage sophisticated monitoring solutions and approved infrastructure enabling the aggregation of immediate and actionable physiological and allostatic load data from a variety of devices. You will lead programmatic efforts to securely integrate performance technology and develop new advanced diagnostic assessment processes and training methodology to enhance operator performance. You will aid in the coordination of all HPP research initiatives by coordinating with the HPP manager, HPP Coordinator, HPP team, outside agencies, and research partners. You will be responsible for developing data strategy relating to HPP measures of effectiveness (MOE), measures of performance (MOP), and return on investment (ROI) with the goal of visualizing and communicating findings through data-narratives. You will utilize sophisticated data science analytic techniques, modeling, and statistical software to analyze multivariate HP data relating to this role. You will design and implement enhanced strategies and programs to improve SOF health, longevity, performance, and fitness with associated activities that will identify and reduce injury potential/severity. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing multidisciplinary technology to perform warfighter readiness such as the capabilities within biomechanics, recovery science, advanced diagnostics, monitoring, performance technology, and/or rehabilitation. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Applicants must meet the following Basic Requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education(external link) at the time the degree was obtained.
