    ### Job Duties

    Develop & implement comprehensive quality assurance strategy for protection & control systems across all operational sites, ensuring compliance w/ regulations, control systems & industry standards such as NERC, IEEE, IEC, & ISO. Oversee, develop & implement: 1) Quality Management through audit processes using Six Sigma & ISO 9001; 2) Protection & Control Systems (develop, test, & implement transmission grade relay protection schemes for Breakers, bus, transformers & line protection systems); 3) Risk management (identify & mitigate system failures & malfunctions through proactive analysis, testing, & preventive measures in cybersecurity); 4) Cross functional collaboration (w/ engineering, operations & maintenance teams, as well as suppliers & contractors, for seamless integration & plant operations); & 5) Reporting & Documentation (maintain accurate records & prepare detailed reports for senior management). Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. Travel to unanticipated project sites throughout the continental US (40%).

    ### Minimum Education Required

    BS in Electrical Engineering w/focus on power generation (clear or fossil), power transmission or closely related field + 5 yrs relevant work exp. or MS + 2 yrs relevant work exp. in the alternative.
