Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented Seasonal Story Producer to support operations at a major global retail client in the PNW. This role will either sit in LA or Portland and is a hybrid on-site schedule. The candidate will join North America Retail Design, delivering storytelling content and experiences. Responsibilities include leading a large-scale activation for retail stores in LA,. You will managing outreach and negotiations, budget management, dates and gates, contract execution, and ensuring creative vision through to final delivery. The role involves sourcing materials, overseeing installations, and maintaining production schedules. The Seasonal Story Producer will be the key communication point between internal and external teams, contributing to design strategy and building relationships. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Production, the candidate will work closely with Design, Brand, Visual Merchandising, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Real Estate teams.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Work in conjunction with the other Senior Retail Producer, Design team, Design Director, and Production Director to contribute to long-term planning and process improvements to support Global, Geography partner, and Brand goals.
- Manage all aspects of assigned retail projects and related production processes to effectively execute on timelines, goals, and budgets.
- Drive project schedules and communications, meeting cadence, lead meetings, execution of deliverables, and in-store installations.
- Maintain strong communication, both written and verbal, internally and externally.
- Collaborate with the design and operations teams, architects, agencies, contractors, and fabricators to ensure designs are executed to specification and quality standards.
- Facilitate sampling and prototyping, identify and address key issues and challenges in the printing, construction/manufacturing, and testing of designs.
- Review engineering drawings and fixture design to ensure feasibility of execution and budget
- Be accountable for organizing, recording, and maintaining all project-specific development/production documentation and specifications for integration into retail standards. Leverage best practices and tools while improving on them.
- Foster teamwork and build consensus among the design team, partner teams, and vendors. Encourage innovative thinking and operational excellence that optimizes creativity.

Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in production and creative project management.
- Experience of producing for retail, showroom, pop-ups, and experiential installations.
- Passion for turning design dreams into reality and staying at the forefront of creative partner resourcing.
- Experience in contract negotiation, production budget planning, logistics, management, reconciliation and value engineering.
- Ability to organize and lead various teams to successful outcomes, and establish good relationships within the creative and production industry.
- Ability to work in ambiguous and matrixed environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented attitude.
- Ability to travel to LA.
