    Job Description

    Insight Global is sourcing for a skilled Java/Spring Boot Developer to join a leading health solutions company that provides healthcare and retail pharmacy services. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using Java and the Spring ecosystem. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean code, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development. This position will be assisting with a google cloud migration and third party A/R applications. This position is hybrid onsite in Rhode Island, 1-2 days per week, as a 6-month contract with opportunity for extension.

     

    Compensation: $_40_/hr. to $_50_/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

     

    -3+ years of experience in Java development, with at least 2 years using Spring Boot

     

    -Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and relational database design

    -Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and Java 8+ features

    -Experience with Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)

     

    -Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
