    Job Description

    Position Summary

    Insight Global is seeking a senior Project Scheduler to lead scheduling efforts for a portfolio of small capital projects at the Superior Refinery. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, deep expertise in Primavera P6, and a solid understanding of stage gate project lifecycles. You will work closely with a small project team (3–4 members) to manage 30–40 active projects ranging from $5M–$8M, with an annual spend of approximately $25M.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain high-level project schedules using Primavera P6 across a portfolio of ~25 small cap projects.

    • Lead schedule integration across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

    • Perform trend analysis, schedule risk assessments, and scenario planning to support decision-making.

    • Collaborate with Cost Engineers and Project Managers to align cost and schedule data.

    • Support stage gate reviews and ensure scheduling aligns with project lifecycle milestones.

    • Generate reports and dashboards using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and other tools.

    • Interface with tools such as SAP, Procore, and Ecosys (or similar cost management platforms).

    • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

    Skills and Requirements

    MUST HAVES:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related detail-oriented degree OR equivalent experience

    • 10–15 years of experience in project scheduling, ideally in oil & gas, refining, or industrial sectors.

    • Experience in Primavera P6

    •  Knowledge of stage gate methodologies and project controls best practices.

    • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, especially in the $5M–$8M range.

    • Familiarity with cost management tools such as Ecosys, SAP, or equivalent.

    • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex scheduling data to stakeholders.

    • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project environments. PLUSES:
