This role is onsite in Ann Arbor, MI. You may work on-call hours. The work schedule will include one weekend day and non-traditional hours. What You'll Do
As a Facilities Assistant II with the Ross School of Business, you will play a key role in executing the day-to-day maintenance of the Ross complex. This position requires you to work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and other partners to keep our facilities safe, welcoming and a conducive environment for students, staff, faculty and the Ross community as a whole. You will be responsible for providing assistance in the daily functioning and upkeep of the Ross School of Business buildings, including, but not limited to basic maintenance, cleaning and event support. This position responds to facilities-related questions and inquiries, including addressing security and emergency issues. The Facilities Assistant II reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities*
+ Assist with activities supporting the upkeep, cleanliness, and safety of Ross facilities, including interior, exterior, rental, and hotel properties.
+ Support office relocations, furniture moves, and setup.
+ Manage and track repair tickets across multiple platforms and assist with minor repairs or maintenance as needed.
+ Perform tasks requiring specialty mechanical equipment such as ladders, lifts, and power washers.
+ Conduct regular building walk-throughs to identify and address maintenance or safety issues.
+ Perform routine maintenance on kitchen and mechanical equipment to ensure proper functionality.
+ Assist with cleaning, event set ups and building opening and closing as needed.
Required Qualifications*
+ High school diploma or equivalent is required
+ Minimum one year of customer service experience
+ Minimum one year working in a team environment
+ Minimum one year working in a maintenance related role

Salary Information:
The posting range for this position is $41,500 to 48,800. This posting range reflects multiple factors involved in determining compensation, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and other organizational needs. At Ross, it is not common for new hires to be offered a salary at the upper end of the range. Compensation decisions are based on the details of each situation.
