    Overview

     

    Selution, in partnership with Cordis, specializes in the development of ground-breaking technology and commercialization of advanced drug device combination products for the treatment of coronary and peripheral artery disease.     Responsibilities

    The Senior Production Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders and optimal utilization of resources. This role collaborates closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality to balance demand, capacity, and inventory, enabling efficient and compliant manufacturing execution.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Develop and maintain detailed production plans and material requirements based on demand forecasts and capacity.

    + Monitor and adjust production schedules to accommodate changes in priorities, demand, or material availability.

    + Analyze material and resource constraints to prevent delays and ensure timely production.

    + Partner with Procurement and Logistics to ensure raw material readiness for planned builds.

    + Lead coordination meetings with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to align plans and address constraints.

    + Track performance metrics such as schedule adherence, lead times, and capacity utilization.

    + Maintain accurate ERP data related to work orders, routings, and planning parameters.

    + Support new product introductions and technology transfers by integrating plans into production schedules.

    + Provide visibility to leadership regarding forecast accuracy and production performance.

    + Identify and implement process improvements within production planning and scheduling.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education

    + 5+ years of production planning or materials experience in a regulated manufacturing environment or equivalent education and experience.

    + Strong ERP/MRP system proficiency and understanding of planning logic.

    + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration ability.

    Preferred:

    + APICS, CPIM, or CSCP certification.

    + Experience with Lean planning or pull-system methodologies.

    + Knowledge of medical device manufacturing processes.

    + Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

    + Able to manage multiple priorities and changing deadlines.

    Working Conditions

    + Office and manufacturing environments.

    + Occasional time on production floor to coordinate scheduling.
