Salary Range: $29.52 - $40.70
Pay rates are determined based on experience and internal equity.
Position Summary:
+ This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer.

+ Constantly use C-I-CARE principles when communicating with others.
+ Maintains all principles of confidentiality according to District policy and as required by State and Federal agencies.
+ Follows guidelines and practices identified in the Employee Handbook.
+ Participates in continuous quality improvement activities within the Administration and Medical Staff Services offices.
+ Completes hospital-wide skills criteria annually.
+ Complies with annual PPD testing.
+ Maintains responsibility for own professional development.
Position Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Assist in the development of short- and long-term plans and objectives for programs, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.
+ Assist in the preparation of project application materials and documentation for submission to relevant agencies.
+ Assist in design of performance objectives, implement and monitor progress to meet desired outcomes.
+ Ensure that all team members understand the scope of the project as well as individual and departmental responsibilities.
+ Develop periodic outreach plan according to program needs.
+ Compile and submit project progress reports to relevant agencies.
+ Coordinate activities with vendors and consultants; maintain appropriate relationships with them.
+ Some travel required.
Essential Functions:
+ Must have strong computer and program skills, to include the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn and master other computer technology and software as needed.
+ Must have the ability to keyboard.
+ Must have the ability sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
+ Must have the ability to interact verbally in a positive matter with co-workers and visitors.
+ Demonstrates the ability to function as a team member within the department.
+ Demonstrates the ability to have positive personal interactions with staff, patients, visitors and physicians.
+ Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Work with minimal supervision, exercise discretion and use independent judgment.
Position Qualifications:
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in a related field strongly preferred.
+ Experience: 2 years of project management or other relevant experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
+ Skills/Ability: Exhibits the ability to organize work assignments and follow through with accuracy. Exercises good judgment, demonstrates initiative, emotional stability, tact and poise. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of technology and productivity software.
+ LVMC reserves the right to modify the minimum requirements depending on the needs of the organization.
