Job Summary and Qualifications

+ As Controller, you will coordinate the direction and management of Finance and Revenue Integrity.

+ You will plan, direct and coordinate all operational activities for the Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Revenue Integrity departments.

+ You will develop policies and procedures to ensure both regulatory and corporate/audit compliance.

+ You will ensure timely and accurate completion of month end and subsequent preparation of the financial statements.

+ You will develop the capital and operating budgets.

+ You will assist in overseeing facility wide productivity.

+ You will support facility in ad hoc financial analysis.

+ You will interview and hire appropriate staff.

+ As a member of Medical City McKinney’s management team, you will make a significant contribution to the public's perception of the hospital.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION:

+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting our related field required; advanced degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

+ Three years of accounting experience in a hospital or healthcare setting ​required.

+ Five years of management experience to include:

- Supervising staff level personnel

- Payroll

- Budgets

- General finance department operations

- Capital

- Business planning

Medical City McKinney opened its doors more than 90 years ago. We are a 285+ bed acute care hospital. We serve the residents of McKinney and northern Collin County. Our main campus is a Level III Trauma Center. We provide emergency services at our main campus and at Medical City ER Stonebridge. We have cardiovascular and neurological services. We offer general surgery, orthopedics and women's services. Additionally, a Level II neonatal intensive care unit and behavioral health services. Medical City McKinney is a Primary Stroke Center. We are also a stroke rehabilitation center. We are certified by The Joint Commission for total hip and total knee replacement. We are a part of the Medical City network of hospitals.
