    Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA** ) is seeking is seeking **a Lean Practitioner** to join the **Fulfillment Process and Performance** team in **North Charleston, SC** **.

     

    Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels, including Associate and Experienced Lean Practitioner.

     

    This role also requires travel to the Puget Sound area. Travel will be based on business needs and can be anywhere from a week to a few months.

     

    As a Lean Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in driving Lean initiatives across the organization. You will be responsible for leading projects that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance. This position requires a deep understanding of Lean principles and methodologies, as well as the ability to mentor and guide teams in their Lean journey.

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Facilitate Lean projects and initiatives across various departments

    + Conduct value stream mapping and process analysis to identify areas for improvement

    + Develop and implement Lean training programs for employees at all levels

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts

    + Utilize data analysis and metrics to measure the effectiveness of Lean initiatives

    + Mentor and coach team members in Lean principles and practices

    + Prepare and present reports on project progress and outcomes to management

    + Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Lean methodologies

    + This position is expected to be 100% onsite

    + This position requires travel to Charleston, South Carolina

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment

    + 1+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace

    + 1+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams

    + 1+ years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills

    + 1+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem solving skills

    + Willing and able to work a variable shift (primarily 1st shift)

    + Willing and able to travel domestically

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    + Lean Six Sigma Certification

    + 3+ years of experience implementing lean principles

    + 3+ years of experience teaching Lean+ tools and concepts

    + 3+ years of experience working with the Boeing Problem Solving Model

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

     

    Summary pay range (Level 2): $80,100 - $97,900

     

    Summary pay range (Level 3): $94,500 - $115,500
