Job Description:

Participates in the planning, development, implementation, and support of operational activities. Meets requests for assistance with coordinating, tracking, and evaluating clinical, administrative, or operational processes and systems. Identifies ways to streamline operational procedures between or within departments and locations by recognizing and sharing best practices.Participates in data gathering and reporting methods for systems and procedures related to staffing, workflow, and information needs. Position will assist in the preparation of materials, reports, and presentations for leaders. This position will be involved in projects that are cross-functional, involving shared responsibility, and staff/leadership from different areas. Performs complex, diverse, and confidential administrative support duties and general office duties for respective department.

Education Qualifications:

Required Education:

+ Associate's Degree in a related field

Required Experience:

+ Minimum of 1 year office experience

+ Proficient and comprehensive skills in personal computer software systems and applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and databases (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc).

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in business, management or healthcare related field

+ Strong interest in supporting healthcare operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Coordination and scheduling of committees, department and other scheduled activities

+ Preparation of routine and non-routine reports, meeting minutes, memos, data collection/graphs

+ Special assignments and projects as needed

+ Provides administrative and strategic support to staff within the department as required
