Job Title: Manager, Clinical Systems IRT

Job Description

The Manager, Clinical Systems IRT, will collaborate with a cross-functional team comprising Clinical Study Management, Supply Chain, Data Management, and technology suppliers. This role supports the implementation and maintenance of Interactive Response Technology (IRT) solutions for clinical trials. The manager will ensure that IRT solutions align with study protocols, industry regulations, best practices, and company policies.

Responsibilities

+ Design IRT systems based on clinical protocols.

+ Manage IRT systems through the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

+ Provide technical oversight to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement and maintain IRT solutions.

+ Negotiate with external vendors and manage projects and teams.

+ Facilitate meetings and manage vendor relationships effectively.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with Interactive Response Technologies (IRT) and Randomization and Trial Supply Management (RTSM) systems.

+ Strong understanding of system integrations related to IRT systems.

+ Experience in designing or maintaining IRT systems for clinical trials.

+ Excellent documentation and communication skills.

+ Proficient in Good Clinical Practices and FDA regulations.

+ Problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 5 years of focused IRT experience.

+ Bachelor's Degree in life science, computer science, engineering, business, or related discipline.

+ Experience in clinical operations, clinical supply chain, or clinical systems management.

+ Experience implementing clinical systems such as IRT and eCOA.

+ Vendor management experience.

+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position, with a preference for candidates located on the West Coast. The role follows a Monday to Friday schedule, and candidates can be based anywhere in the United States.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Thousand Oaks, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
