Our client is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee lighting and mechanical renovations across multiple Boeing facilities at the Frederickson Campus in Puyallup, WA. This is a 13-month onsite role, requiring full-time presence from mobilization through closeout. The Construction Manager will lead the entire construction process, ensuring safety compliance, documentation accuracy, subcontractor coordination, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee the entire construction process from mobilization to closeout.

+ Ensure compliance with Ameresco’s safety protocols and OSHA standards.

+ Develop and execute site-specific safety plans; manage daily/weekly safety documentation.

+ Manage construction documentation using Procore (RFIs, submittals, MDS, daily reports, change orders, inspection logs).

+ Coordinate subcontractor daily activities, deliveries, and onsite logistics.

+ Monitor subcontractor progress and identify installation deficiencies.

+ Manage critical path schedules monthly in Microsoft Project and update 3-week look-ahead schedules weekly.

+ Call in permit and third-party inspections as needed.

+ Lead stakeholder meetings and generate weekly meeting minutes.

+ Prepare and manage construction closeout documents.

+ Oversee weekly construction meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders.

+ Schedule and manage site services and equipment rentals.

+ Ensure QA/QC deliverables are met for each trade.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent field experience.

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or construction management.

+ OSHA 30 certification (or commitment to recertification if expired).

+ Proven track record of managing industrial construction projects valued at $5M+, including lighting retrofits and mechanical upgrades.

+ Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documents.

+ Strong leadership and communication skills.

+ Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

+ Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

+ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

+ Must be able to travel and work onsite in Puyallup, WA.

+ Must be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

+ Ability to provide three professional references from previous employers or industry representatives.

Disqualifiers

+ Less than 5 years of relevant construction management experience.

+ No experience managing industrial construction projects valued at $5M or more.

+ Lack of OSHA 30 certification (or unwillingness to recertify).

+ Inability to work onsite in Puyallup, WA for the full duration of the project.

+ Poor communication or organizational skills.

+ Inability to read and interpret electrical drawings or construction documents.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
