Construction Project Manager – Brookfield, CT

We are hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a respected and growing construction firm specializing in commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor projects. Role Overview

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects—from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout. You’ll serve as the central point of coordination between clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead the full lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.

+ Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.

+ Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to meet project goals.

+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.

+ Monitor progress and proactively address delays or budget variances.

+ Prepare and deliver regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders.

+ Resolve conflicts and challenges that arise during construction.

+ Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and safety protocols.

+ Implement risk management strategies to minimize project disruptions.

+ Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-efficiency and timely delivery.

+ Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear communication across all teams.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience managing construction projects, particularly in commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, or semiconductor sectors.

+ Proven success in delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.

+ Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

+ Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Sage).

Preferred Skills

+ PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

+ Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.

+ Familiarity with sustainable building practices and LEED certification.

+ Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

+ Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and take-offs.

+ Knowledge of Autodesk software is beneficial.

Work Environment

This role involves a mix of office and field work. The schedule runs from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with projects located across Fairfield, Hartford, and New Haven counties in Connecticut, as well as Poughkeepsie, NY. Time will be split between the company’s Brookfield headquarters and active job sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00/hr.
