    As a Modeling and Simulation Engineer, you will serve as a baseline modeling and simulation analyst. Under supervision, you will engage in modeling and simulation functions such as exercises, plans, coordination, demonstrations, and instruction across various fields including health, environmental, transportation, law enforcement, military, and civil agencies. You will conduct technical analyses and assessments to develop recommendations, maintain system integration labs, facilities, and analysis tools. Additionally, you will support analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments, managing information exchange, model capabilities, technical standards, and interoperability.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct modeling and simulation operations under supervision.

    + Perform technical analyses and assessments to develop recommendations.

    + Maintain system integration labs, facilities, and analysis tools.

    + Support analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments conducted by the Government.

    + Manage information exchange, model capabilities, and technical standards.

    + Provide instruction on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises.

    + Support live, constructive, or virtual training.

    + Utilize RF modeling and simulation software to manipulate antenna and power models.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of relevant experience in Simulation.

    + Proficiency in GIANT Software, Matlab, Python, Builder, Systems Toolkit, and C++.

    + Expertise in RF modeling and simulation software.

    + Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field.

    + DoD issued Security Clearance (Interim is acceptable).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Holding a Master's or PhD may allow for flexibility in required years of experience.

    Work Environment

    This position is based at Kirkland AFB and requires onsite presence 5 days a week. Working hours are from 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, with flexibility on start time.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
