**Job Title:** Food Service Worker
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused **Cook/Prep Cook** to support dining operations from **Tuesday to Saturday, 1pm to 9pm** . This role involves operating point-of-sale systems, handling cash transactions, assisting with food preparation and service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment. Building positive relationships with coworkers and students is an important part of this position
Responsibilities:
+ Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions in dining areas.
+ Assist with receiving and stocking food supplies.
+ Support food preparation and service in accordance with safety and quality standards.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization in food service areas.
+ Provide friendly and efficient customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Essential Skills:
+ Experience in food service or kitchen support.
+ Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ Dependable, trainable, and able to work independently when needed.
+ Previous experience in a restaurant, dining hall, or similar setting preferred.
+ Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
+ Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
