    Job Title: General Assembler

     

    Pay: $19/hr

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated General Assembler to join our team. This role involves assembling a wide range of parts needed for the assembly of larger units. Candidates should be mechanically inclined and have experience with hand and air-powered tools.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble a variety of parts needed for larger unit assembly.

    + Possibly operate machinery such as Band Saw, Brake Press, and Plate Roller.

    + Read and interpret engineering blueprints.

    + Utilize hand and air-powered tools effectively.

    + Understand and apply angles, tooling, and cutting techniques.

    + Work with fabrication, MIG welding, plasma cutting, and wiring.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanically inclined with at least 6 months of assembly experience.

    + Proficient in using hand and air-powered tools.

    + Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

    + Experience in mechanical assembly and electrical assembly is highly preferred.

    + Ability to read engineering blueprints.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with press breaks, shears, and basic CNCs is a plus.

    + Experience in MIG welding and plasma cutting is beneficial.

    + Familiarity with wiring and installation of hydraulic components.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in a large manufacturing environment, with both indoor and outdoor settings. Part of the area is air-conditioned. Work hours are typically from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with potential to work extended hours from 5 am to 4/5 pm, Monday through Friday. The dress code requires steel-toed boots, pants or work jeans, and a t-shirt.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, Arizona.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
