Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Job Description
The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and components according to specifications. This role involves working as part of a team, rotating between the CNC Press Brake, the manual Press Brake, and a Laser. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality standards are crucial.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts according to blueprints, drawings, or work orders.
+ Select proper tooling and machine settings based on material type and thickness.
+ Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
+ Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
+ Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
+ Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality.
Essential Skills
+ 1-3 years of experience operating Brake Press (CNC Brake Press and/or manual) or Laser.
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading.
+ Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience with machine operation and sheet metal work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
