    Job Title: Welder

    Job Description

    As a Welder, you will be building and fabricating bridge and barge components. Your role will involve welding, cutting, and fitting steel to create specific bridge parts based on project requirements.

    Responsibilities

    + Weld, cut, and fit steel to fabricate bridge components.

    + Read and interpret blueprints to execute project specifications.

    + Perform welding using Flux Core on structural and stainless steel.

    + Utilize MIG welding techniques as needed.

    + Grind and arc gauge metal to ensure quality fabrication.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Flux Core welding on structural and stainless steel.

    + Ability to read and work from blueprints.

    + Experience with MIG welding.

    + Skills in grinding and arc gauging metal.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in blueprint reading and fabrication.

    Work Environment

    The work environment involves handling steel components and operating welding equipment. Safety gear is required to ensure a safe working atmosphere. The position may involve working in various conditions, and adherence to safety standards is essential.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cordova, Alabama.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
