    Robert Half is proud to partner with a respected nonprofit organization in search of a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator. If you thrive in a purpose-driven work environment, have strong administrative skills, and excel in supporting HR functions that uphold the mission and values of a nonprofit organization, this role is built for you. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations, maintaining employee engagement, and making a meaningful impact within the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, processing background checks, and maintaining candidate records.

    + Assist with onboarding new employees by preparing documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a seamless process.

    + Facilitate open communication between employees and HR, addressing questions or concerns about policies, processes, or benefits.

    + Maintain employee files and records in compliance with nonprofit regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

    + Coordinate training and development programs to encourage collaboration and professional growth.

    + Support benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, and resolving employee benefit inquiries.

    + Monitor compliance with employment laws and nonprofit-related regulatory requirements, including HR audits and reporting.

    + Participate in employee engagement activities to foster a positive team culture that aligns with the organization’s mission.

    Requirements

    + 1+ years of prior experience in human resources or administrative support, preferably within the nonprofit sector.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS platforms.

    + Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, with careful attention to detail.

    + Stellar verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to provide empathetic, friendly support.

    + Passion for the nonprofit sector and alignment with the values and goals of the organization.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

    + PHR or SHRM-CP certifications are a plus

    + Familiarity with nonprofit-specific HR practices, such as grant-related compliance or volunteer staff coordination.
