    Job Title: 1st Shift CNC Lathe Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator/Machinist to join our team. You will be operating a Hyundai Lathe with live tooling to machine parts daily and setting up 1-2 jobs each day using G code on a Fanuc Controller to manipulate tool paths.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and set up Hyundai Lathe with live tooling.

    + Manipulate tool paths using G code on a Fanuc Controller.

    + Perform 1-2 job setups daily.

    + Conduct 1st piece inspections on setups and parts.

    + Ensure set-up sheets are accurately filled out and updated for all jobs.

    + Handle and package parts to prevent damage and oxidation.

    + Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required.

    + Participate in team-related activities.

    + Perform all other duties, as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

    + Proficiency in reading and using calipers, micrometers, height stands, and indicators.

    + Ability to read, interpret, and adjust G code programming.

    + Capability to set up and run horizontal and vertical machining centers or lathes.

    + Skill in setting up machine tools and entering required offsets into machine control.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Preferred knowledge of Mazatrol, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Siemens Controls.

    Work Environment

     

    Work a 1st shift schedule from 5 am to 3 pm, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays or before shift hours. Experience an environment that encourages growth and flexibility.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $39.00/hr.
