Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the seamless operation of our automated equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting machinery, creating documentation for predictive and preventative maintenance, and ordering necessary components when faults arise. Your expertise will be key in developing standard operating procedures to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain all automated equipment to ensure optimal performance.

+ Develop and document predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

+ Source and order components for machinery when faults occur.

+ Create preventative maintenance SOPs based on common equipment errors.

+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

+ Utilize PLC controls for troubleshooting and debugging.

+ Collaborate with engineering to ensure accurate maintenance documentation.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electrical and mechanical maintenance.

+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting and debugging.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Strong skills in hydraulics and pneumatics.

+ Experience with Allen-Bradley systems and conveyor installations.

+ Competence in predictive and preventive maintenance practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechatronics Degree Preferred.

+ Experience with preventive maintenance reporting.

+ Familiarity with engineering documentation.

Work Environment

The work environment resembles an assembly setting with metal detectors and screenings prior to entry. It is a temperature-controlled warehouse with no personal protective equipment required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.
