Job Title:** **Sanitation Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated **Sanitation Technician** to join our facilities team. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across commercial office spaces, ensuring a safe and orderly environment for employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.

+ Sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, countertops, and restroom fixtures.

+ Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners, and ensure proper waste disposal.

+ Restock cleaning and restroom supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper).

+ Report inventory shortages or maintenance issues to supervisors.

+ Operate commercial cleaning equipment (training provided if needed).

+ Wear appropriate PPE when cleaning in lab environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

+ 1+ year of commercial cleaning experience.

+ 1+ year of customer service experience.

+ Familiarity with janitorial duties and custodial responsibilities.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Must be reliable and consistent with attendance and scheduling.

Preferred Skills:

+ Experience using commercial cleaning equipment.

+ Previous work in healthcare, educational, or lab environments.

+ Valid driver’s license (may be required for certain locations).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
