Job Title: Assistant in Printing Operations

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operational functions, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output. This position is perfect for individuals eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment, particularly those with an interest in machining, printing, and quality control processes. Day or night shifts are available.

Responsibilities

+ Assist press operators in daily tasks.

+ Learn the operation and maintenance of printing and converting equipment.

+ Set up and run your station effectively and efficiently.

+ Monitor and adjust equipment as necessary during production runs.

+ Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep.

Essential Skills

+ Basic understanding of quality control processes within a manufacturing or production environment.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

+ Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities.

+ Mechanical aptitude and inclination.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Machine operation experience.

+ Printing and production experience.

+ Experience with hand tools and troubleshooting.

+ Mechanical and press machine experience.

Work Environment

The position is based in a printing press environment within a manufacturing setting. Shifts run from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, offering both day and night shift options.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Paola, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
