Job Title: Anodizing Lead
Job Description
The Anodizing Lead plays a pivotal role in supervising second-shift production employees in the Anodize Department. This hands-on leadership position ensures production goals are met while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Anodizing Lead is responsible for training, coaching, and supporting team members, and serves as the go-to resource for process-related questions and performance feedback.
Responsibilities
+ Supervise and lead a team of 7 to meet daily production output.
+ Train and coach team members, including new hires.
+ Review and schedule orders to ensure production goals are met.
+ Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
+ Provide performance feedback and serve as a resource for process-related questions.
+ Handle parts, which may require lifting up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks such as racking and hanging metal parts.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of stable work history, preferably in manufacturing.
+ 1+ years of experience leading or supervising a team.
+ Strong hand strength and dexterity.
+ Ability to read and write in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with chemical processes, racking, machine operation, and metalworking.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
+ Knowledge of temperatures, plating, coating, and assembly line processes.

Work Environment
Employees will work on an Anodizing Line, standing all day in a large, air-conditioned building. While the shop can be somewhat dark and a little dirty, it is typical for a manufacturing environment. The facility boasts an excellent ventilation system, ensuring no chemical odors. Initial training will occur on the first shift, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, for three months before transitioning to the second shift from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BLAINE, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
