Maintenance Technician – Contract to Hire

**Location:** Columbus, Indiana

**Shift:** 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (rotating weekly schedule)

**Training:** First shift for 3–9 months

**Environment:** Fast-paced automotive manufacturing plant (non-temperature controlled; hot in summer)

Key Responsibilities

+ Mechanical troubleshooting: hydraulics, gear boxes, ball screws

+ Electrical troubleshooting: multimeters, relays, contacts, proximity switches, photo eyes

+ Work with 3 Phase motors up to 480V (wiring & rebuilding)

+ Preventative maintenance

+ Robotics troubleshooting training provided

Required Skills

+ 1+ year industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience

+ 1+ year electrical troubleshooting (3 Phase motors, 480V, switches, relays)

+ 1+ year hydraulic troubleshooting

Preferred Skills

+ PLCs and ladder logic knowledge

+ Ability to read inputs/outputs

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $35.00/hr.
